About the Raleigh-Durham Electrical Training Institute
We are dedicated to producing the most capable, skilled, well-trained, professional, and safety conscious union electricians to service the electrical needs of the Research Triangle region. Our training program is thorough and in-depth allowing the growth of our apprentices to their maximum potential.
Our training and classes are conducted on campus at Durham Technical Community College, in Durham N.C. Once an apprentice is registered in our program, students are also registered as Durham Tech students. This allows us to offer our apprentices a college classroom setting with all of its amenities. We also utilize physical lab space to conduct supervised hands-on education and training on a variety of subjects such as conduit bending and motor controls.
